Order Dynamics Markets — Terms of Use
Version: terms-v2
Effective from: 2026-11-01
Binding language: English. Any translation is provided for convenience only.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of the Order Dynamics Markets platform at markets.orderdynamics.io ("the Platform") and the strategy bundles, signals, order automation, analytics and assistant delivered through it ("the Services").
They are between you ("you") and Order Dynamics GmbH, Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse 109, 20251 Hamburg, Germany, registered with the commercial register of Amtsgericht Hamburg under HRB 200459 and trading as Order Dynamics Markets ("we", "us"). The full company details are in the Legal Notice at /imprint.
By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Separate documents apply alongside these terms and form part of your agreement with us:
- the Risk Disclosure, at
/risk - the Privacy Policy, at
/privacy - the Withdrawal Instruction and model withdrawal form, at
/withdrawal, if you are a consumer - the Declaration of Own Use, at
/own-use, when you buy a paid bundle - the Provider Terms, at
/provider-terms, if you supply strategies as a strategy provider
1a. Who "you" are, and which account the Services are for
"You" means the one natural person or the one legal entity that holds the account with us.
If you hold the account as a legal entity, the Services are for the trading of that entity's own assets, carried out by the natural persons you have named to us. They are not for the assets of your clients, your members, your investors, or anyone else.
"Your Alpaca account" means a brokerage account at Alpaca of which **you are the beneficial owner** — the account whose profits and losses are economically yours. An account that you hold, operate, manage, advise on or have trading authority over for someone else is not your Alpaca account under these terms, whatever its legal title and whoever signed for it.
If you want to use the Services in connection with accounts you do not beneficially own, you need a separate written agreement with us. Section 10 says how to ask for one. The bundles offered on this site do not cover that use, and subscribing to several of them does not add up to it.
2. What the Services are — and what they are not
Order Dynamics Markets is a technology platform. Strategy providers publish rule-based trading strategies on it, grouped into bundles. When a strategy you have chosen produces a signal, the Platform turns it into an order for your own Alpaca account, sized by the settings you chose, and either waits for your release or sends it automatically — whichever you set for that strategy.
- Not advice. Nothing on the Platform — including the descriptions of strategies and bundles, their track records and the answers of the assistant — is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
- Not personal. We do not assess your financial situation, your experience, your risk tolerance or your objectives. Every subscriber to a given strategy receives the identical signal.
- Not a broker, not a bank. We do not hold your money or your securities, and we do not execute or clear trades. Your account, your cash and your positions are held by Alpaca under your own agreement with Alpaca.
- Your decision. Choosing a bundle, enabling a strategy, setting its position size and choosing automatic execution are your decisions. Every order placed in your Alpaca account under your settings is placed on your behalf and for your account. You are responsible for it.
- Risk of loss. Trading involves substantial risk, including the loss of your entire investment. Read the Risk Disclosure before you connect an account or subscribe.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password, second factor and recovery codes secure. Tell us without delay if you suspect unauthorised access.
One account is for one person. You may not share access.
4. Strategy providers and the content on the Platform
Strategies and bundles are supplied by strategy providers: by us and by independent third parties. Every strategy on the Platform is rule-based and non-discretionary: its signals follow fixed rules, not a manager's judgement case by case. The provider of each strategy and bundle is named on its page.
- We review every provider and every strategy before it goes live, against published criteria. A review is not a guarantee that a strategy is profitable, free of error or suitable for you.
- Descriptions, track records and other content about a strategy are supplied by its provider. Backtested and live results are labelled as such. We check them for plausibility; we cannot verify every figure.
- If a provider stops delivering signals, a strategy may be paused, changed or withdrawn. Where that affects a paid bundle, we will tell you, and you may cancel it.
How we are paid, and why that matters to you. You pay us for paid bundles. We pass a fixed share of what you pay to the provider of the bundle. This does not change the signal you receive, but you should know that we and the provider earn more when more bundles are used.
5. Bundles, subscriptions, prices and who sells to you
What is free. Your account, connecting your Alpaca account and the assistant are free of charge. Paid bundles have a fixed monthly price and cost from the first month; there is no free trial and no performance fee.
Stripe is the merchant of record. We use Stripe's Managed Payments programme. This means that when you buy a paid bundle:
- Your purchase contract for the transaction is with Stripe, not with us. Stripe is responsible for billing, invoicing, VAT and refunds.
- The checkout is operated under the Link brand. Your card or bank statement will show
LINK.COM*, not "Order Dynamics Markets". - Stripe's own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment relationship.
We remain your counterparty for the Services themselves — access, signals, order automation, content, availability and support.
One subscription, one line per bundle. You hold one subscription with us. Every paid bundle you buy is a separate line on it, and you receive one invoice a month. A bundle you add during a month is charged at once, pro rata for the rest of the current month, and in full from the next month.
Bundles that contain other bundles. Some bundles are tiers of one ladder: a higher tier contains every strategy of the tier below it (for example, Core is fully contained in Advanced, and Advanced in Institutional Alpha). You can hold only one tier of a ladder at a time, so that you never pay twice for the same strategy. Moving up replaces the lower tier and is charged pro rata at once; moving down takes effect as a credit on your next invoice.
Prices. All prices shown on the Platform are **net amounts and exclude VAT**. VAT is added at checkout at the rate applicable to your country and is collected and remitted by Stripe.
Term and cancellation. Each bundle runs month by month. There is no minimum term. You can cancel each bundle on its own, at any time, in your account under Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid; the bundle stays active until then. Cancelling your last paid bundle ends the subscription at the end of that month. We do not refund part-used months, except where the law requires it (section 6) or Stripe grants a refund.
Providers. A strategy provider can run its own bundles in its own account free of charge. This applies only to bundles of that provider.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. Every paid bundle you add is a new contract with its own 14 days. Because two contracts are involved (section 5), it matters which one you are withdrawing from.
The purchase. Your purchase contract is with Stripe as merchant of record. Anything that concerns payment, invoicing or refunds is directed to Stripe.
The Services. Your contract for the Services themselves is with us. Before we activate a paid bundle, we ask you to request expressly that we begin providing the Services straight away rather than waiting for the 14 days to pass. We record that request.
You keep your right to withdraw. If you withdraw after we have begun, you owe us a proportionate amount for the part of the service already provided, up to the point your withdrawal reaches us. You do not lose the right by starting early — you only pay for what you used.
The full instructions, together with the model withdrawal form, are in the Withdrawal Instruction at /withdrawal. You may use that form, but you do not have to: any clear statement sent to legal@orderdynamics.io is enough.
7. Connecting your Alpaca account
The Services work only with a brokerage account at Alpaca that you opened and hold under your own agreement with Alpaca. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for Alpaca's services.
- You connect your account by giving us an API key for it. We store the key encrypted and use it only to read your account balance, positions and orders, and to place, change and cancel orders as described in this section. We do not use it to move money in or out of your account.
- You can disconnect at any time in your account under Alpaca, and you can revoke the key at Alpaca at any time. Either stops all order placement by us.
- Approval or automatic, per strategy. Each strategy starts in approval mode: we prepare the order and wait for you to release it. You can switch a strategy to automatic mode; orders for that strategy are then sent to Alpaca without your individual release. You can switch back at any time. Automatic mode does not make us your portfolio manager, and it does not transfer responsibility for your orders to us.
- Position size is yours. You set a default position size as a share of your account value, and optionally a different size per strategy. We calculate quantities from that setting and the figures Alpaca reports. Signals carry no position size.
- We only close what we opened. Order Dynamics Markets closes only positions that it opened for a strategy. Positions you held before connecting, or open yourself, are never touched.
- Signals have a validity. A signal is valid only for the period its provider sets — as a rule, the trading day it was issued. An order not released or not filled in time expires.
- Paper trading. You can connect a paper-trading account at Alpaca to try the Services without real money.
8. The assistant
The assistant explains strategies and bundles and helps you compare them by the criteria you give it. It is an automated system based on a large language model. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not advice (section 2). Check every statement that matters to your decision against the strategy page. Do not enter personal data into the assistant that it does not need.
9. Your licence, and what you may not do
For as long as you are entitled to a bundle, we grant you a **personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable** right to use its signals, analytics and content **for your own trading, in your Alpaca account, and for no other purpose.**
That is the entire scope of what you receive. Any use beyond it is not a breach of a side obligation — it is use without a licence.
In particular, you may not:
- redistribute, republish, resell, mirror, syndicate, forward or otherwise make available signals, strategy content, track records or analytics to any third party, whether for payment or free of charge;
- use the Services for, or on behalf of, any account you do not beneficially own — including client accounts, managed accounts, advisory accounts, pooled accounts and funds;
- use the Services to operate a signal service, a copy-trading offering, a managed account, a fund, or any other offering to third parties;
- extract or re-use a substantial part of our signal database, or publish a substantially equivalent set of signals derived from what we deliver;
- scrape, reverse-engineer or circumvent access controls, rate limits or entitlement checks;
- share your account or your credentials with anyone else.
All content, data and software remain our property or that of our licensors, including the strategy providers.
If you breach this section. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without refund, and claim damages. If you are **not a consumer**, we may in addition charge the fees that would have been payable for the accounts actually served, for the entire period in which they were served.
10. Advisers, managers and other professional users
If you would use the Services in connection with accounts you do not beneficially own, write to legal@orderdynamics.io. We may offer a separate written agreement for that use. It is not available through the bundles on this site, and subscribing to one of them does not create it.
11. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform depends on third parties — our hosting provider, Alpaca, market data sources, strategy providers and the payment provider — and we are not liable for their failures. We may suspend access, or pause order placement, for maintenance, security or legal reasons, or where we have reason to believe a signal is erroneous.
Signals are published when strategies produce them. We do not promise a particular number of signals, a particular frequency, or any result.
12. Liability
- We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
- For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach a duty that is essential to the purpose of the contract (a "cardinal duty"), and then only up to the damage typically foreseeable for this kind of contract.
- Any other liability is excluded.
- Subject to the paragraphs above, our aggregate liability for claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Services in that period.
Trading losses. We are not liable for losses arising from your choice of bundles and settings, from market movements, from the content or quality of a provider's signals, from the execution or non-execution of orders by Alpaca, or from your use of a signal. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Term and termination
You may cancel paid bundles at any time as set out in section 5. You may delete your account at any time in your account under Account. Deleting it removes your Alpaca connection at once, cancels orders still waiting for your approval, and ends all paid bundles at the end of the month already paid. For 30 days you can restore the account by logging in; after that it is deleted for good. Positions already in your Alpaca account remain yours and stay there. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend your access for a serious breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. We may terminate for convenience on 30 days' notice, refunding any period paid for but not yet provided.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms where there is a valid reason — a change in the Services, in our providers, or in the law. We will publish the new version at /terms with a new version identifier, and we will tell you before it takes effect. The version you accepted remains retrievable at /legal/terms/v/<version>.
If a change materially disadvantages you, you may cancel with effect from the date the change takes effect.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remainder stays in force. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Alpaca is a trademark of its owner. It is named to describe the technical integration; Alpaca is not responsible for the Services.
